Martinsburg WV Freelance Workers To Get Jobs & Online Education

A new collaborative community website in Martinsburg WV is beginning its recruitment of local freelance workers to help complete jobs for small businesses of the Eastern Panhandle.

ULiveWV, a community website that’s officially launching in the spring of 2015, is building its database of freelance workers to prepare for the future development of business services, events and promotions for the Eastern Panhandle.

The overall objective of the website is to employ the talents & skills of local residents as a way to create unique events, promotions and business services. This will allow residents of Martinsburg WV, Charles Town WV, Berkeley Springs WV and other surrounding cities in the Eastern Panhandle to have a single resource for accessing micro job opportunities.

One of the inspirations for the development of ULiveWV.org is to give local residents a supplemental income source that might allow them to perform jobs that they are passionate about, for a little extra cash. As a freelance worker, most jobs can be performed from a personal home office.

As the growth of the Internet continues to increase the number of jobs that are lost due to outsourcing into other states and countries, U Live WV hopes to assist local residents with the tools and resources to regain some of that revenue.

As for businesses, they will have immediate access to local workers who can perform short term jobs or tasks such as; running errands, graphic design, customer calls (telesales), social media marketing, writing articles (blog & website), distribution of flyers, etc… Hiring will be based on a pay per job basis, which can be easily executed online.

Most new jobs will be acquired through the efforts of ULiveWV sales consultants. The jobs will then be distributed to ULiveWV “career builder” members first and then to free members. Jobs can also be obtained directly by members having their services posted on the ULiveWV jobs page for employers and other residents to access.

Business services are just one benefit of ULiveWV. The website will also be used to create totally unique events for the Panhandle community. Members with a variety of talents can collaborate together and design entertaining promotions for other members to participate in.

Once the site has been officially launched, online education courses will be made available to members. The courses will focus primarily on assisting members with building a successful freelance career using the Internet. The online training makes it convenient for all members to access material and local classes may also be utilized for the more “hands on” participants.

To qualify for ULiveWV you must be 16+ and a current resident of the Eastern Panhandle. Participation is free for all residents, however members get precedence when jobs become available.
